Hey Baby, What’s Your Sign? The Importance Of Astrology In EVERY Relationship

While it may seem like a lame pick-up line from the 1960’s, there is a lot of truth behind the compatibility of zodiac signs in every relationship in your life.

If someone had tried to tell me about the importance of astrology 20 years ago, I would have looked at them as if they were crazy, but now, I know better.

In 2007, I learned about a rare astrological alignment to occur in 2010, where the last time it occurred was during the 1960’s and the “Summer of Love”.  At the time, I told my daughter to be on the lookout for an increase in tie dye shirts because this was the energy that was associated with this particular alignment.  Right on schedule, tie dye became the fashion once again in 2010.

In 2008, Pluto entered Capricorn where it will stay until 2023.  The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was in 1776, during the American Revolution.  If you look around the world, revolutions are occurring in many countries.  This is not a coincidence!

Another interesting point is that when Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008, that was the year of the banking collapse, which was right on schedule as Pluto tears down everything that is not in the best interests of humanity and gives us the opportunity to rebuild it in humanity’s best interests.

The basics of compatibility is based on your personal birth sign and the element that it is associated with.  Each sign has one of four associated elements attached to it:

Fire Signs: Aries, Leo and Sagittarius
Air Signs: Gemini, Libra and Aquarius
Earth Signs: Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn
Water Signs: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces

Your Best Bets (Generally Speaking)

1. Same Sign

2. Same Element

3. Compatible Element

In general, you should be compatible with people of your own zodiac sign ( e.g. Aries with a fellow Aries) as well as any sign that falls within your particular element.  For example, if you are a Virgo (Earth element), then your best matches would be with other people who fall under the Earth element (Taurus and Capricorn).

While the same sign or same element are generally your best compatibility bets, you may also have great relationships with compatible element signs.  For example, Air and Fire signs work well together because Fire needs Air.  I’m a Libra (Air) and my daughter is a Leo (Fire) and we have an amazing relationship with one another. These types of relationships are generally strong but some may be too polar opposite to be compatible with one another.

Those who are born on a cusp may tend to lean one way or another but overall, they will most likely relate to one particular element of their own, personal natal birth chart.

Any sign before or after your own personal sign might be compatible with you as well, but in each case, the sign will always have an incompatible element. For example, if you are a Libra, you could possibly be compatible with Virgo or Scorpio because you share some similar energies by having signs so close to one another.

When you look at your natal birth chart, take notice of where Pluto is because Pluto will show you what challenges you will face in this incarnation.  On my natal birthchart, Pluto was in Virgo in the 12th House.  The 12th house represents things that are hidden which needs to come to the surface.

In my case, it meant that I needed to confront my Type A personality mother, who was very controlling.  Universe continued to give me relationships with similar women, culminating in my 2nd marriage to a Virgo woman who was born on the same exact day as my mother.  These are the signs that the Universe gives us in which we need to pay attention to. While my mother and I have always had a loving relationship, my Libra tendencies for balance and harmony While some signs may not be compatible at face value, there may be underlying facets of an opposing natal birth chart where incompatible signs would actually be a great match for one another.kept me subservient to her controlling tendencies.  With Pluto in Virgo in the 12th house, it showed me that my challenge in this incarnation was to confront my mother on her controlling tendencies, which I did.  Since then, our relationship has been better than ever as she is one of my biggest supporters for in5d.
