If you love Beetlejuice as much as we do, then you’ll love this restaurant with the film’s theme.
Repeat after me when I say this – There’s no Halloween without Tim Burton. The goth director and artist has blessed us all with some of the best movies ever made and no matter how many times you watch them, you’ll never wear them out.
Strange but lovable characters, twisted plots with a hint of both horror and romance, every Tim Burton movie is so well executed that every title is a masterpiece. Well, at least we think so.
And, if you love Tim Burton and every movie of his as much as I do, there’s a place you need to visit.
A horror haven and paradise for Burton lovers, a restaurant inspired by Beetlejuice exists and not only is it dressed in Tim Burton vibes, but it also features delicious spooky food and actors dressed like your favorite characters.
Located in New York and Los Angeles, Beetle House is everything a die-hard Tim Burton fan can possibly dream of. The Gothic bar and restaurant plays music from iconic Burton movies all day long and celebrated Halloween throughout the year! So, if waiting for Halloween is getting a little too hard for you, you can head to Beetle House right away and prepare to be amazed.
The food, the ambiance, the music, everything is great but personally, I think the best part about visiting Beetle House is getting to meet the actors who pull off Tim Burton characters so well, you’ll have to look twice.
Their make-up skills are ON POINT and they love the characters they play so much, they become them. I mean, when you go there it will really feel as if you’re drinking with Michael Keaton and Johnny Depp, no kidding.
“Beetle House is a year round celebration of Halloween with an artistic and thematic atmosphere inspired by horror culture, magic, and the artistic, literary and cinematic works of Tim Burton, Alfred Hitchcock, Bram Stoker, Washington Irving, Edgar Allen Poe and many more. In short, we are kind of like an adult Halloween party with a Burtonesque feel, curated by Alfred Hitchcock, with a 90s goth band on stage and everyone is wearing Weird costumes. We are a safe place where every goth, punk, freak, weirdo, artist, and visitor is welcomed and celebrated,” reads the bar’s website.
The menu that the bar serves is really Tim Burton-ish as well. This is Halloween, Coco Skellington, Bio Exorcism, The Beetle’s Juice, Edward’s Lemonade, Alice’s Cup O’ Tea, Oogie Boogie’s Bacon and so on.
Come indulge in everything Tim Burton and have the time of your life.
