As someone who has experienced both anxiety and depression in her life, I can say these are the most accurate depictions I have ever seen.
His name is Sow Ay, and he understands what it is like to struggle with, and try to cope with, depression and anxiety. But, rather than letting his overwhelming emotions get the best of him, Sow Ay uses his artistic talents to work through his feelings.
While Sow Ay has been using his artistic method of drawing to serve himself as a method of healing, many of his followers surprised him by telling him how much they relate to his work. It turns out, something Sow Ay was using for himself has turned out to help countless others with their plight as well.
He writes, “Some months ago, I started drawing my thoughts as an person struggling with generalized anxiety, panic attacks and depression.” Sow adds, “I started these drawings because I’m really bad at explaining what’s inside my head, and explaining by drawing has always been a lot easier for me.”
Take a look at these and tell me if you can relate to them as much as I could. They are accurate, powerful, and they really help others to understand where you are coming from.
