We’ll take one of each, please.
The coffee cup you choose to start your day with can have a dramatic impact on your mood. Think about it: Drinking your brew out of one of these simple mugs with a positive message is likely to start your day on a very zen note, while these galaxy-inspired designs have a much more energizing vibe. But if you’re going for something more creatively stimulating (and sparkly!), look no further than these crystal mugs.
The artist behind them, Collin Lynch, wants his designs to embody living life to its fullest, which is why he put stunning aura crystals on the outside of something intended to hold the caffeine that’ll give you the energy to make that happen. In fact, his online store, Essarai Ceramics, all started, because he wanted to learn a new skill that was outside of his comfort zone. So he definitely practices what he preaches.
“I’ve always loved the magical and fantastical realms of life and after taking an interest in ceramics, I realized I could manifest those interests into a reality with pieces that could be used everyday,” he told Bored Panda. “I now work out of my home creating exciting pieces and projects that are constantly evolving, which is a blessing for a creative person.”
Here is Lynch in all his ceramic glory:
Hello from the Essarai Ceramics den. Thought I’d take a minute to introduce myself formally and thank all of you who have joined me on this ride. My name is Collin. I make each and every one of your pieces start to finish in my home, am the person you speak with if you order, and get to play boutique owner when I package your pieces to send them off. I’m a pretty private person so I’m coming out of my little shell to say ‘hello’ and to thank you from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU! (And YES I’m coming out with new work!!! I’m just trying to finish school ????????????)
And these are the mugs that he’s blessed the Internet and our mornings with — they might look like they could be hard to drink out of, but we haven’t read any complaints!
If you prefer tea over coffee, there’s a set with a plate for your freshly-brewed tea bag:
Lynch has an Etsy shop called EssariCeramics where he sells his mugs, but since he’s trying to finish school, his stock has been low as of lately. That means you have to act fast if you want to add one of his crystal creations to your collection.
